An intumescent door seal enhances fire protection by swelling at high temperatures, sealing out both fire and smoke to keep the interior safe.
Security is at the forefront of the MVEX-2116’s design. The six-sided 2" thick composite body and 1-1/8" diameter locking bolts provide exceptional protection against pry attacks. Up to five 1/4" angled hardplates inside the door and body defend against drill attacks, while relocking devices connected to a glass plate protect the lock from tampering. A reinforced solid continuous deadbolt on the hinge side ensures the door remains secure even if the hinges are compromised. For added security, the safe includes a pre-drilled hole in the center for easy bolting to the floor.
The MVEX-2116 comes standard with a SecuRam Digital Electronic Lock featuring a TopLit keypad for ease of use and reliability. For those preferring a traditional option, a UL-Listed Group 2 dial combination lock can be installed for an additional charge.
