- The person who purchased the Safe must be present at the delivery location at the time of the scheduled delivery.
- The recipients signature must be present on the drivers copy of the delivery receipt and any notes of damage must also be on the drivers copy of the delivery receipt for claims purposes.
- A full-sized tractor trailer (semi with up to a 53’ trailer) must be able to navigate the roads to your location, park at the end of your driveway safely, and be able to exit the delivery location.
- The driver will then lower the item down to the ground and move it as close as possible with a manual pallet jack.
- From this point, it is the buyer’s responsibility to move the safe from this location. Garage delivery is not guaranteed and will be performed only “if possible”.
- Garage delivery will only be attempted if the driveway is paved, relatively short, and fairly level. The delivery company will not drive up the driveway or onto private property regardless of the size of truck used.
- If the requested or preferred delivery location is not accessible for the delivery company, the buyer must make accommodations to pick up the safe at a suitable location approved by the delivery company the day of delivery or within 2 business days after contacted by the delivery company.
- NOTE: If the scheduled delivery appointment is missed, you must be available for redelivery within the following 2 business days. The item cannot be canceled or refused due to delivery issues. If the product is canceled or refused due to delivery issues, the product will be returned to our location and the shipping charges plus a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
- Call for further details and/or other delivery options such as smaller truck availability and guaranteed delivery date service. The delivery company only delivers Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm excluding holidays. A specific time cannot be requested, but the delivery company will provide you with an estimated delivery window.
Product Inspection Upon Delivery
- DO NOT SIGN THE DELIVERY RECEIPT UNTIL INSPECTING AS FOLLOWS: If there are no visible signs of damage to the box or item, you may sign the delivery receipt and let the delivery company leave. Make sure to unbox the item and inspect it immediately even as the delivery driver is walking back to the truck. If you find damage, contact us immediately. (We will put tape over any damage to the box prior to leaving our facility)
- If the safe is lying down, covered in plastic shrink wrap, and/or you see visible signs of damage to the box or item, the driver is required to wait for you to unpackage the safe and inspect it for further damage. However, this must be done in a timely matter. If you find some damage but you still want to keep the safe, make sure to notate the damage on the delivery receipt so that we can file a claim and offer compensation. Take pictures of the damaged areas prior to unpackaging and after unpackaging. Contact us immediately to start the claim process. If the compensation offered is not acceptable, you will still have the option to return the item for a full refund or replacement. (Compensation amount is usually offered within 24 hours.) If there is too much damage or the delivery driver refuses to let you inspect for further damage, then refuse the safe and we will ship you a replacement safe or refund your money in full upon return. DO NOT ACCEPT THE ITEM WITH DAMAGE WITHOUT NOTATING THE DAMAGE ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT PRIOR TO SIGNING.

Product Warranty
LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
All Gardall products are warranted to the original retail
purchaser against defects in material or workmanship for
one (1) year from purchase. We will, at our option, repair or
replace a defective unit without charge for new parts. You
must pay all transportation charges and labor charges if a unit
is repaired. Defective units should be returned to Gardall or
an authorized service location as designated by the factory.
All of the above is applicable only if prior written permission
is given by the factory, along with a proper Return Goods
Authorization Number. Lifetime replacement warranty is
available on Gardall record safes. Warranty work must be
authorized by the factory. Unauthorized warranty work will
not be paid for.
EXCEPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
1. We make NO OTHER expressed or implied WARRANTIES
and no one is authorized to make any other warranties on
our behalf. This warranty service is the EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY for a defective or non-conforming product.
2. All warranties are limited to a one year duration, or two
years from the date of manufacture with the exception of
lifetime replacement warranty on record safes.
3. Gardall is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OR INCIDENTAL
EXPENSES, INCLUDING INJURY TO PERSONS OR
PROPERTY.
Note: Some states may not permit such limitations or
exclusions so these provision may not apply to you.
4. This warranty is not applicable to units that have been
improperly installed, misused, tampered, burglarized, or
accidentally damaged, or where the serial number has
been defaced or removed, or where combination lock
numbers have been changed without permission from the
factory, or where damage is caused by failure to perform
normal maintenance.
YOU MUST RETURN THE ENCLOSED REGISTRATION
CARD TO QUALIFY FOR WARRANTY SERVICE.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights in addition to
those which you may have under state law.
